A WATERING ALERT
ATTENTION: All Customers of Stano Landscaping, Inc.
REGARDING: What You Can Do to Care for Your Landscape
Southeastern Wisconsin and especially the Metropolitan Milwaukee Area
currently is experiencing below normal precipitation. Many lawns and planting
bed areas are showing signs of stress.
It is our recommendation that you maintain a regular watering program
throughout the summer to reduce the stress on your lawn and planting areas. As
the heat of the summer intensifies, it may be necessary to increase the frequency
of your watering practices, especially in areas exposed to the drying effects of the
wind and sun.
Newly planted trees and shrubs, as well as lawn areas installed this spring or late
last fall, require additional watering to insure proper establishment and growth.
Annual plantings, especially, need daily attention. Insufficient levels of moisture
from lack of rainfall and regular watering will jeopardize the ability of both lawn
and plantings to develop and sustain an adequate root system for survival during
this dry period.
For customers who are unable to handle watering needs on their site, a watering
service is available from Stano Landscaping, Inc.
