WATERFALL/POND WINTER PREPARATION AND MAINTENANCE WINTER 1. Leave water in pool. 2. Remove pump and drain pump and tubes. 3. Install some logs or big chunks of styrofoam in water. This will allow ice to expand without putting pressure on liner. 4. Cover pond with earth tone colored tarp to prevent extensive snow build up and a long Spring meltdown. 5. Clean out overflow tube, if needed. SPRING 1. Drain old water and replace with fresh water. 2. Clean/replace filter for pump. 3.
